TechEn Introduces Wearable, Wireless fNIRS Device at fNIRS2014
TechEn is excited to introduce its new wearable, wireless fNIRS device at the fNIRS2014 conference in Montreal.
This new device represents a significant step forward in functional near-infrared spectroscopy technology. By making the system both wearable and wireless, TechEn is addressing one of the key limitations of traditional fNIRS systems: the need for subjects to remain relatively stationary during measurements.
Key Features
- Wearable design — lightweight and comfortable for extended use
- Wireless connectivity — enables free movement during data collection
- High-quality data acquisition — maintains the signal quality that CW6 users expect
The wireless capability opens up new possibilities for research in naturalistic settings, allowing subjects to move freely while brain activity is being monitored. This is particularly valuable for studies of cognitive development in children, where keeping subjects still has been a persistent challenge.
We look forward to discussing this new technology with researchers and clinicians at the conference. Contact us for more information.
